A 1.5 kW AC servo motor drives permanently mounted, matte hard-chrome feed rolls in a rugged steel frame, feeding material 1 to 3.2 mm thick and up to 200 mm wide with \u00b10.05 mm accuracy \u2013 and it can feed four coils at the same time to multiply press output. Feed length and speed are set on a 7-inch HMI, and the air pilot release opens the rolls automatically so pilot pins can locate the strip precisely in the die.
